Zoom Air India Newest Airline
Zoom Air the brand name for Zexus Air Services, is a regional airline based at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India. Founded in 2013 as Zexus Air, the airline obtained its air operator’s certificate. The inaugural flight took off on 12 February 2017. Commercial operations are expected to start from 15 February 2017 to three destinations in India using a Bombardier CRJ200.
It has become the 12th operational domestic carrier after Air India, Jet Airways, Vistara, IndiGo, SpiceJet, GoAir, AirAsia India, Alliance Air, Air Carnival, True Jet, and Air Costa are the other domestic airlines.
Its first flight was on 12 February with flights to Delhi, Durgapur, and Kolkata. The Airline connects for the first time the Steel city of Durgapur (West Bengal ) with daily multiple direct frequencies to Kolkata, New Delhi, and Mumbai with premium service on board. Also first-time state Capital of Meghalaya gets direct Air connectivity Daily to Kolkata and then further to Mumbai, New Delhi, and major cities.
India’s Newest Full-service commuter airlines operate to Multiple capitals in India hubbing over New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Hyderabad in initial stages offering convenient daily connections between city pairs. From New Delhi, Zoom Air daily connects Aizawl, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Dimapur, Durgapur, Hyderabad, Kullu, Jorhat, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ranchi, Mumbai, Srinagar and Shillong in Phase -1 of expansion. Zoom Air also plans to expand its route to places like Tirupati, Vijaywada, Mumbai, Shillong, Aizawl, Pasighat, and Zero (in Arunachal Pradesh), Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Indore, and Bhopal.
