SC removed Anurag Thakur as BCCI president.
Supreme Court of India removed Anurag Thakur as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and Ajay Shirke as secretary. The President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India is the highest post at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which runs Cricket in India.
Supreme Court has asked BCCI to list five nominees who can take the president’s job. Among various names doing round one is Saurav Ganguly, veteran Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) official CK Khanna, Gautam Roy of Assam Cricket Association. But Sourav Ganguly is everybody favorite but he is not a vice president but he is successfully working as the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).
