Patanjali is 15th India’s most trusted brand
Baba Ramdev Brand Patanjali called Patanjali Ayurved Limited is now India’s fastest-growing consumer products brand. Patanjali Ayurved Limited is a leading manufacturer and marketer of herbal, nature-based products and medicines.
Its product is now available in 10 countries helping people with a healthy and natural lifestyle. Patanjali’s overseas business today spans key countries on almost all continents. Patanjali revenues for the fiscal year 2015-16 was ₹5,000 crore (US$740 million).
Baba Ramdev along with Acharya Balkrishna established the Patanjali Ayurved Limited in 2006 with the objective of establishing the science of Ayurveda in accordance and coordination with the latest technology and ancient wisdom.
Its revenue in the year 2009-10 was ₹163 crore which has now increased to ₹5,000 crores.
The products of Patanjali, run by controversial yoga guru Baba Ramdev are selling so fast that analysts say that it could be soon a Big Global Brand and will pose a big threat to other established firms like Dabur, Emami, and Marico.
Patanjali’s s products vary from the categories of personal care and food, all the products manufactured by Patanjali are made from Ayurveda and natural components. Patanjali has also launched beauty and baby products and the Patanjali Ayurvedic manufacturing division has over 300 medicines from the common cold to chronic paralysis.
Patanjali has announced to enter the textile manufacturing center and is expanding its manufacturing units throughout India. According to India’s Most Trusted Brands list, Patanjali Ayurveda makes it to the No 15 rank.
The brand name Patanjali Ayurved combines the names of India’s ancient herbal medicinal system of Ayurveda, and the famed yoga saint of yore, Patanjali.
