BSNL Lowers Mobile Internet rate to Rs 36 per GB
State owned telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have decided to offer up to four times data on existing data STVs (Special tariff vouchers) available in the market that is Rs 36 per GB.
This step is to counter Reliance Jio’s free offer, which is offering free 4G service till March 31 2017. Two of BSNL most popular STV ie Rs 291/- with validity of 28 days will now offer 4 times data ie 8 GB, similarly data STV of Rs 78/- will offer double data ie 2 GB.
With these offers BSNL is now offering data at the rate of RS 36 per GB which is one of the lowest in the industry. Sri R.K. Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board told that we are committed to provide affordable mobile services for all segment of the prepaid mobile customers. These offers will be valid from 6th Feburary 2017 on PAN India basis.
