5. Expandable Memory
Many phones come with the option of adding a micro SD card at the back, which works like expandable memory to your phone. Adding these micro SD cards helps you to increase the capacity of your phone. This feature is not available with the iPhone where you have to shed more money to upgrade your phone.
6. Removable battery
Not all Android phones but still many have the features of removable battery that you can take out and replace. That feature is not available on iPhones. Battery life depends upon the number of charges and discharge cycles it has done, so if your Android phone got a problem with not getting charged properly and discharging too soon you can easily remove and replace the battery but in the case of the iPhone it’s not possible you have to go to the Apple store to get it serviced.
7. Universal Chargers
All android phone uses micro USB chargers, you don’t have to worry about leaving your charger at home, as you can easily share other micro USB chargers.
8. Widgets and Multitasking
Android offers all sorts of widgets that you can put onto your home screens. These widgets might be anything from a custom clock, weather, alarms, direct calls to contacts in your phone, flashlight, email, messages, and so much more. The android phone also allows you to do multitask where you can view multiple apps at once.
9. Custom ROMs
With an Android phone, you can replace the software that came with your phone and can install a new operating system. There are even ways to install completely different operating systems on some Android devices, such as Ubuntu, Firefox OS, Sailfish, and many more.
10. Customization
Android lets you choose your own level of customization. Like live wallpapers, alternative keyboards, to custom ROM installs. Some manufacturers are even allowing hardware customization, where you can change the phone body according to your style like Motorola has Moto Maker, LG has replaceable leather backplates, as does Xiaomi.
The same comparison is valid for the tablet market too, with all sorts of different devices from the Pixel C to the Nexus 9, Xiaomi’s tablets, Honor’s tablets, Samsung Note tablets.
