After US Singapore Reduce Work Visas
There is no good news for the Indian information technology professional, recently USA has tightened there immigration program causing much shock for Indian IT professional who is always eyeing to work abroad after there education.
Now Singapore is stopping Indian IT professionals from entering their country by dropping the visas issued to Indian professionals and have been asking the major IT companies to hire local talents rather than getting Indians to work.
After the USA limiting their H1B visas for Indian IT professionals, top IT Firms have been relocating there operations to other countries and many have started shifting to Singapore.
But now Singapore authorities have been demanding compliance with certain economic pre-requisites via a test called the economic needs test (ENT), such a test was not agreed in the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA). Indian Government has cited this as a violation of the trade pact in the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA).
A number of top Indian IT firms like Infosys, Wipro, HCL, TCS, and Cognizant have relocated its operation to Singapore but now they have received communication on fair consideration for hiring locals and this is going to hit the Indian IT Professionals hard.
